Moonga puts streams from Kick, Twitch and YouTube side by side and merges their chat into one list. You do not need an account to watch or read along — only to join in.
Go to the home page, pick a platform and type the channel name, then choose what to open. You get a link you can share or bookmark; anyone who opens it sees the same thing.
The link is readable on purpose. It is the platform, then the channel name, as often as you like — up to twelve:
moonga.tv/multichat/kick/gnomonkey/twitch/gnomonkey
So you can also just type one yourself.
| Multiwatch | The streams next to each other, with chat beside them. /multiwatch/… |
|---|---|
| Chat only | Every channel's chat merged into one list, no video. /multichat/… |
| Watch and chat | One stream on the left, the merged chat on the right. Drag the divider to give either
side more room; Moonga remembers where you left it. /watchandchat/… |
| Popout | Chat on its own in a small window, handy next to a game. /popout/… |
| OBS link | The same chat on a transparent background, to lay over your stream.
/obs/… |
Press OBS link on the home page. Set how it should look, copy the link, and in OBS add Sources → + → Browser. Paste the link there and set the width and height to the area you want the chat to fill.
You cannot click anything inside a browser source, so the settings are part of the link instead. Change one on the home page and the link changes with it — copy it again and paste it over the old one in OBS.
The background is see-through, so your stream shows through behind the text. The outline behind the letters is on by default; it keeps them readable when the picture behind them is bright. There is no bar, no input box and no buttons, because nobody is there to use them.
kick.com/gnomonkey → gnomonkey.@GnomonkeyRS), the channel id (starts with
UC), or the 11-character video id from a watch link. A handle is easiest; a
video id is the most certain, because Moonga then has nothing to look up.Reading chat needs nothing. Sending a message, or acting on one, needs you to link that platform to your Moonga account.
What you are allowed to do there is decided by the platform, not by Moonga. If you are a moderator on that channel, the moderation buttons work; if you are not, the platform refuses and Moonga shows you why.
You sign in once with one platform and add the others from the same page, so all of them belong to the same account. Moonga never sees your password on any platform.
Kick and Twitch chat travels straight from the platform to your browser. Moonga is not in between and keeps none of it, which is also why there is no history: you see what arrives while the page is open.
YouTube is the exception. Its live chat is only available through YouTube's own interface, so Moonga collects it and passes it on. That part can lag a few seconds behind the others.
| A chat stays empty | Check whether that channel is actually live. An offline channel has no chat to show. |
|---|---|
| YouTube will not load | Try the channel id (UC…) or the video id from the watch link instead
of the handle. |
| Your own message will not send | The platform decides. Followers-only, subscribers-only and slow mode all block a message; Moonga passes the reason back to you. |
| The page looks wrong after an update | Reload once with Ctrl+F5. That clears the old files your browser kept. |
